Venditor
Halloween Contest 2026 · AI Shorts / Films / Animation · Contest rules
Ten years after the murders in He Only Knocks Once, a man calling himself Glenn drifts into Orchard Grove, Ohio, in October 1981, trying to stay invisible. But the porch lights along his street have started staying on, and a well-dressed visitor with a red case is going door to door. He's soft-spoken and endlessly courteous. All he needs is for you to open the door. Glenn gets pulled in by the town crank's warnings, the static on a trucker's CB, and a woman who knows far more than she should. He starts to suspect the visitor didn't come for the town. He came for him. Told through home video, news broadcasts and found tapes, VENDITOR is a 1981 found-footage descent into cosmic horror that ends under the projector light of a drive-in on Halloween night.
