The Museum of Borrowed Tomorrows

Halloween Contest 2026 · AI Shorts / Films / Animation · Contest rules

By Jihoon Songverified

On Halloween night, a museum restorer finds paintings that steal tomorrow’s choices. A wet glove, a blank ledger and one thread lead her to refuse the bargain. 108-second fictional picture film. I set direction, format and quality through natural-language instructions. An AI agent adapted my published DreamGen story and made six new OpenAI image_gen scenes, a four-frame paper sprite, captions, code animation and editing. This corrected version adds actual TinyMusic-generated instrumental music, mixed with original code-synthesized rain and bells. No TTS, live action or dedicated video model. Replaces the rejected no-score version. Story: https://v2.dreamgen.com/app/scenario/v/ef6dc9b1-71bb-41f9-b18b-58a255a50be5
