The Magnificent Seven

By Marko Kacanskiverified

The Worst Knights Company — Episode: The Magnificent Seven A ragged travelling company of misfits rolls into a hillside settlement of “wise men,” a leaking wagon, a sick minstrel, and a little glass bottle that will not stay shut. This episode of The Company follows Dulcinea, Pip, Captain Goliath, Doctor Quill, Duke Percy and the rest as they lodge among the Brotherhood of the Tree of Wisdom. The Wiseheads argue about pillars, planets, collected works and four hundred beds. Then someone uncorks the Bottle Imp. Ambitions swell. Contracts are offered. A storm falls on the olives. By morning the chest is empty, the hall is a wreck, and the Mac Badavan sisters have arrived. Shot as 1960s–70s Italian–Yugoslav co-production slapstick.
