The Last Porch Light

For 61 Halloweens, Agnes Hale left her porch light burning and one candy bar in the bowl. Never for the neighborhood kids. For her little brother Tommy, who went trick-or-treating in a bedsheet ghost costume in 1965 and never came home. This year, at 11:59, there are three small knocks. A bittersweet two-minute Halloween ghost story. AI disclosure: visuals generated with Grok Imagine from original prompts; narration is an AI voice (Piper TTS, public-domain LJSpeech voice); original score and sound design synthesized by Satr Tools.
