STEP-FREE ACCESS

Halloween Contest 2026 · AI Shorts / Films / Animation · Contest rules

By Andrew Arkinsverified

In a house haunted by its past, a mysterious young woman in a wheelchair faces a strangely familiar obstacle: a staircase. When a man discovers her predicament, his response is unexpectedly practical. As Halloween approaches, a simple act of kindness transforms the house and challenges expectations about who, or what, deserves access. Blending gothic horror, dark humour and a touch of humanity, Step-Free Access delivers an unconventional message about accessibility, inclusion and the barriers we create, even for the dead.
