**Spooky Season** is a surreal Halloween nightmare told in three chapters. A group of trick-or-treaters wanders from deserted houses into a haunted forest, encountering strange creatures, sinister scarecrows, and mysterious witches. Frantic, disjointed editing, abrupt cuts, shifting animation styles, and an increasingly chaotic soundtrack create a fever-dream atmosphere where nothing feels quite safe or quite real. But in the end, Halloween's greatest trick might turn out to be a treat.
