Midnight on the Water: a film and original song by LambChop Synopsis (short)
A candlelit map unfolds and a ghost-light trail leads us on a midnight tour of the haunted American South. From the spiritualist camp of Cassadaga, Florida to the Carolina coast, the live oaks of Savannah, the Okefenokee, and the Great Dismal Swamp, the legends rise from the mist. A jazz funeral winds through New Orleans, and the bayou comes alive with voodoo fires, cottonmouths and shacks over black water. It all builds to a ghostly kick line floating over the swamp, and a skeleton couple tangoing on the storm clouds. Dawn breaks over the bayou and the spirits fade, until next Halloween. One-liner
A ghost-light trail leads one haunted midnight from Virginia to Florida, and the South's legends come out to dance. D
